Describe your center’s mission:
Our mission is to reach out to those struggling with fertility challenges by teaching them to reconnect with their FertileSpiritT and help them make their dreams of parenthood come true.

Our purpose is to help couples realize their dreams of parenthood whether naturally, or in conjunction with biomedical fertility treatments. Our purpose moves us beyond the goals of women’s health and reproductive wellness to the vision of promoting optimal health and well-being for couples and their children.

As founder/owner, why did you start/buy your center?
My wife and I experienced fertility problems early in our marriage. We have walked the path of most fertility patients from despair to hope to joy through natural methods. Our journey included male factors, severe endometriosis, multiple miscarriage, adoption, and finally having our own child. There isn’t a step along the path that we have not experienced ourselves and therefore we can empathize with the couple. It is our first hand experience and absolute belief that acupuncture and natural healthcare is the answer to the fertility problems that millions of people face.

What services/mix of modalities does your center offer?
Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine

Acupuncture and herbal medicine work together to restore the body to optimal functioning. While they work together, they also work differently. Acupuncture needles increase the flow of blood, oxygen, and energy through the body. Herbal medications are plants, roots, stems, leaves, and minerals that are taken internally as medicine. Whereas acupuncture enhances circulation and blood flow, herbs are natural energetic substances that gently correct underlying deficiencies and clear obstructions.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine are a fundamental part of our program. At the Natural Fertility Health Centers, we individualize our treatment plans, with the ultimate goal of restoring hormonal harmony, rebalancing the body’s energies, and preparing a woman’s body to nurture a child from conception through birth of a healthy baby.

FertileSpiritT Enhancing Nutritional and Dietary Counseling
To create the foundation for your FertileSpiritT we make a variety of nutritional and lifestyle recommendations. Enhancing fertility requires a shift in your diet, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle considerations to overcome your patterns of imbalance.

Key to your fertility success is to remember that you are not sacrificing your favorite foods, drinks, desserts, or activities. You are substituting some minor lifestyle and food choices for a lifetime of motherhood and fatherhood. Our recommendations are for both the woman and her partner.

Fertility Retreats
Our FertileSpiritT Retreats are an intensive weekend during which we teach you how to make the connections between mind, body, and spirit. This is the area that oftentimes becomes disconnected during the process of seeking parenthood. At our FertileSpiritT Retreats we empower you to discover and remove the physical, emotional, and spiritual blocks that prevent you from discovering your FertileSpiritT and getting you in touch with the “Spirit BabyT” you were meant to have.

Essential Oil Therapy
We use therapeutic grade essential oils that work on an emotional level with a couple to bring them back in touch with their FertileSpiritT.

Healing Visualizations and FertileSpiritT Awareness Practices and Consultations
We guide women through meditations and relaxation techniques that will encourage them to release old thought patterns and bring them to a new awareness of their inner selves.

D.A.D.S.T. Program
D.A.D.S.T. stands for Diet/Nutrition, Acupuncture, Discover Optimal Health and Well-Being, Supplements and Herbs. Up to 40% of couples experiencing fertility problems have factors that involve both the man and the woman. Our D.A.D.S.T Program of natural healthcare is highly successful treating problems with low sperm count, poor sperm motility, and poor sperm morphology. But, D.A.D.S.T is not just for men who are experiencing problems with their sperm. It is for any man who is part of a couple experiencing fertility challenges. Oftentimes, when a man’s sperm has been “Certified A-OK” by the fertility doctor, his wife feels as if she has been branded as “The Infertile One”. Our concept of the FertileSpiritT transcends gender. As a husband, you may not be able to experience or even understand what your wife is going through either physically in her body or emotionally in her mind. We know that your mind, body, and spirit are just as invested and devoted to having a baby as is your wife. The D.A.D.S.T program allows you to demonstrate your full participation with her on this journey. As an added benefit, this simple program not only helps balance your hormonal system, but also helps relieve stress, raise your virility levels, and increases feelings of better health and well-being.

Structural Balancing and CranioSacral Therapy
Our gentle structural balancing and CranioSacral therapy enhances the entire fertility process by normalizing overall pelvic and spinal biomechanics. This therapy helps you reconnect with your FertileSpiritT by offsetting the effects of increased weight gain, altered weight distribution, and excessive ligament weakness that tends to occur during pregnancy. We have also found this to be excellent for women diagnosed with blocked fallopian tubes. We help keep the pelvic regions healthy, biomechanically sound, and minimize soft tissue irritation and discomfort. In other words, these treatments assist in having a successful pregnancy and birth.

Holistic Pediatrics
We have one of the few Certified Pediatric Chiropractors in the Chicago area on staff at our center. He provides a holistic new-born check-up for all of the babies born to couples we have worked with. He is also available for continued holistic pediatric and family care.

Do you take insurance?
We take most insurance for certain modalities. For other modalities we provide all the documentation needed for you to file a successful claim directly with your insurance company.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Fertility Retreats have other cancellation policies.

Center Synergies

Specifically describe teamwork at your center and how it enhances client care.
Several of our practitioners work together with each patient, depending upon the therapies involved. For example, essential oil therapy, emotional and/or spiritual counseling, acupuncture, structural balancing and CranioSacral work are performed by different practitioners working together, sometimes in the same room. Patients often state that they feel “taken care of”, “nurtured”, and “loved” during our treatments. Beginning with your first contact via phone with our receptionist, you are very reassured and comforted while making sure that all of your questions are answered in a kind and caring fashion.

What common practices, standards, or philosophies does your group hold / you require of your group?
Our standard of practice is cooperation. We work together with the couple and at least two of our practitioners as we help you reconnect with your FertileSpiritT.

Your FertileSpiritT is non-religious and crosses cultures. Your FertileSpiritT is one where the seeds of possibility grow in the fertile ground of your belief in yourself as a human being, as a spiritual being, as a parent of the child waiting for your love.
If you feel parenthood is your destiny, then infertility is not a challenge to overcome, but a remarkable spiritual journey of growth and connection with that destiny. You have the choice to be a host to your destiny or a hostage in the prison of persistent negativity surrounding fertility.

Describe the atmosphere and any extra goodies your center has to offer.
When you arrive at our office, you are wrapped in warmth and caring by our attentive staff. We create an experience that is as comforting, encouraging, and reassuring as possible. The treatment area is designed after a spa atmosphere-supportive, soothing, and hopeful.

We serve by Appointment Only. We see patients Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm.
