Sleep Difficulties

Sleep problems appear in many forms including insomnia, excessive drowsiness, sleep apnea and restless movement during sleep. They occur for many reasons such as anxiety, stress, poor diet, food allergies, lack of exercise, neurotransmitter imbalances, hormonal imbalances, medical problems and undetected ailments. Sleep is a natural restorative process, which allows the body to replenish its immune system, and plays a crucial role in our health and wellbeing. If unaddressed, sleep disorders can also generate their own health complications.

Our Practitioner’s Holistic Recommendations

Kristen Bobik, Acupuncture | Profile
Sleep is our body’s time to heal. Try “Four Square Breathing” for 2 minutes before you go to sleep each night. Breathe In, hold, Breathe out, hold …. In an even pattern. This type of breathing activates our Parasympathetic Nervous System and let’s our body know that it’s time to “Rest and Digest.”

The quickest way to produce results with Insomnia, difficulty sleeping, or fatigue is Acupuncture! I use the “Tune-Up” protocol I generated specially for this issue.
