Services

Services and products

I offer a heart centered energetic approach to healing. With either physical or non-physical light touch I help you identify areas of stress and assist in reestablishing energy flow. When all subtle energy systems (fields, chakras, meridians) are in balance, health follows. I empower you to see how your patterns of thought, stuck emotions, toxins in your relationships &/or environment can contribute to disease or lowered quality of life. As you become aware of all that influences your life and how you flow with it, the energy repatterns and holds health. I have advanced training in various forms of energy balancing techniques that are complementary to other forms of health care, such as cancer care, counseling, physical therapy to name a few.

How does your healing modality work?
I assist you in repatterning your life and energy flow in the direction of health. Much research is currently being conducted through the National Institutes of Health, various universities and medical centers throughout the states. We still can't proclaim exactly "how" this works but we have great reports from past "outcome based" studies and personal experiences.

How do you see your services evolving over the next three years?
I will continue to grow and explore advanced methods for assisting others on their healing journey. I will continue to teach Healing Touch to others on a regular basis, through workshops, health fairs, community/support groups and courses toward certification.

Issues / Benefits

Presenting issues and problems or types of clients

Why do people come to see you?
To learn the source of symptoms/disease & what it is teaching them which may have a huge impact on ability to overcome it, to relieve pain, minimize side effects from cancer treatments, to relieve headaches (especially migraines), to lessen need for certain medications, to speed up healing from surgery or other injury, for spiritual growth, to assist them through blocks in the psychotherapy/counseling process, coping with dying or for any number of health conditions: asthma, ADHD, infections, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis.

Who is an ideal client?
One who truly wants to heal and is open to exploring all that is involved in the healing process. One who realizes they are the "boss" of their health care team and does their part.

Benefits and results people see

Increased self awareness of how life events and stress impacts health, tools to release past issues that hold symptoms in place. "Relaxation Response" which lowers blood pressure, heart rate, deepens breathing and increases oxygenation and circulation. Pain relief, Sense of well being, Stress reduction, Improved immunity. I assisted one client in getting off medication for anemia by stimulating her bone marrow with just light touch and energy balancing. A few of my clients undergoing chemotherapy have not required nausea medication and have continued working since they have energy with only slight fatigue.

Unique

Healing philosophy or mission

All healing is self-healing. That is, our bodies were created with amazing abilities to repair and rebalance. Occasionally the stressors become so great that we need help from another to assist our body in "remembering" how. Florence Nightingale said, "Nature alone heals. We place the patient in the best position for this to happen."

Uniqueness and what makes you good

Describe your style or approach:
I listen (with my ears) to what you say (and in between the lines), I feel empathically what is happening and I feel with my hands what your energy shares. I am then able to help you see things that are related, use techniques to assist change and empower you with things you can do for yourself. Like any good nurse, I work my way out of a job!

What makes you different/good at what you do?
I love what I do! I work at self-healing so I understand what it takes. I am empathic (can feel what you are going through). I continue to study and learn and put everything into practice. I have found the actual "doing" teaches me so much more than the teacher's or books explanation. I was guided into this work as part of a spiritual journey. As I read the "gifts of the spirit", I asked, "I'm a nurse, am I a healer?" From three different resources I heard about Healing Touch. When I hear things in three's, I know God has spoken! While in instructor training I met Standing Bear who has taken me under wing teaching me Shamanic methods for healing and self-growth.

Why do you do what you do?
This is my vocation! I went into nursing to help people feel better and to teach them how to achieve and maintain health. Energy Medicine is the true art of nursing for me. It is what healing is all about! Observing a person heal and integrate on all levels, body, emotions, mind and spirit is very fulfilling.

What else might someone want to know about you?
My mission is to assist others in becoming free of restrictions on all levels and empower them on their path to wellness, a full life and their true Self. I also teach classes in energetic healing.

Logistics

Appointment length and fee range

How long is a typical session?
1st Intake session 2 hours, Follow up 60-90 minutes
My fee is $2/minute

Fee Range
$120/hour (billed in 15 minute increments)
House calls are also available for an extra charge depending on distance.

Typical session and how to prepare:

Your first appointment will be scheduled for 2 hours.
We will begin with a detailed, whole you (physical, emotional and spiritual) history in which I ask you to share with me your life story. During this time we will explore recurring patterns of trauma (for example “I always seem to hurt myself on my left side”), dis-ease process, losses and other stressors.
We will begin to explore the mind-body connection. Research is showing there is an intimate and dynamic relationship between what is going on in your life, with your thoughts and feelings, and what happens in your body. As you think, so you become. I empower you to see how your patterns of thought, stuck emotions, toxins in your environment and/or relationships can contribute to disease or lowered quality of life. As you become aware of all that influences your life and how you flow with it, the energy re-patterns and holds health versus dis-ease.
We will set mutual goals for your health and wellness.
You will then lie fully clothed on a massage table. I will perform an energy assessment in which I scan the chakras (energy centers) and energy field around you with my hands, feeling for imbalances. Based on the goals set, things you shared during the interview and the energy assessment, I will choose a variety of energy balancing techniques and other interactive methods to repattern and align your field to restore balance and harmony. I may assign you "homework" such as journaling, reading a certain book, forms of exercise, meditation, etc. as appropriate for self-care and empowerment. Subsequent visits may be needed and scheduled.

Tips For You By Ann O'Malley, Chrysalis Healing Center

CancerCancer is most often caused by numerous things such as a weakened immune system and toxins in: food, the environment, relationships and emotion. One way to heal from or reduce cancer’s effects is to recognize and clear toxins while stimulating your immune defense mechanisms. My treatment includes the use of specific hands-on energy techniques to clear, balance, repattern and stimulate the way energy flows through your body, emotions, mind and spirit, while guiding you thru making health enhancing choices.
HeadacheHeadaches can be caused by many things such as stress and muscle tension, energetic pain spikes, “ungroundedness”, sinus inflammation, hormonal imbalances or bowel toxicity. One way to reduce headaches is with relaxation and energy balancing. There may be an inconsistant flow of energy from head to toe that may respond to a visual meditation of a tree. Feel your feet growing roots deep into the ground, become aware of how energy flows up from the earth and down from heavens thru your body, feel the pressure release from your head and flow out your feet. I have a very specific and effective treatment for clearing Migraine headaches, promoting relaxation or clearing sinus congestion. I clear and rebalance the energy system and teach you methods for self balancing as well.
