Benefits
What are the benefits/results people see?
Within about two weeks a person will usually start feeling better and will be able to do those things they couldn’t do before, such as sleep better, no headaches, release of pain, etc.Why do people come to see you?
After exhausting the allopathic medical field, and they have not been able to find any help to alleviate their symptoms, they then turn to the natural health field and find that we can, indeed, help them.Who is an ideal client?
People who are interested in a natural approach to their physical problems and are willing to take an interest in their own health. What makes you different/good at what you do?
First, I would never recommend a product or a methodology that I haven’t tried myself to see if it really works. I have tried all of the things I recommend on myself, and I know for certain that they do work
Philosophy/Approach
Describe your healing philosophy:
You must believe in the ability of the body to heal itself. With a little help from herbs and natural supplements, the body can do wonders.Describe your style or approach:
I am very honest with my clients. I discover the cause of their problems, recommend the appropriate herbs and natural supplements to eliminate the cause, then we rebuild the body. Why do you do what you do?
I was very ill, and would probably have died many years ago, if it weren’t for a doctor of natural medicine who attended me. I had many natural methodologies used on me, got somewhat better, then went to work in a natural health food store. The store insisted that their personnel have training in the natural health field, which is where I took my CNHP training. From there, it was just a matter of time to learn more and more, until I ended up taking every class in the college. I was finally able to fix myself of all the problems I had been having. If it worked on me, it would have to work on other people. And today I’m finding that it really does. I couldn’t wait to get started with others, so I eventually started my own business when the company where I worked was purchased and they offered me a buyout.
Education/Background
Education/Training:
I took all my training from Trinity College in Warsaw, IN. After becoming a Certified Natural Health Practitioner in 1996 with their CNHP group, I went on to get each certification they had. I became a Master Herbalist in 1999, a Naturopathic Doctor in 1999, and a Certified Nutritional Counselor in 2001. I continually take current classes several times a year to keep abreast of new information in the natural health field, from CNHP and from other natural health providers.Years Professionally Practicing:
I have been practicing natural health for 20 years, been a Naturopath for 9 years, and have had my own business for 5 yearsContributions/Publications:
I have written an article on Parasitology for a Wisconsin newspaper, and teach classes twice a year in Parasitology and Kinesiology at our local high school and/or my office for adult education.
What to expect
Describe a typical session:
I ask that the client bring all medications or natural supplements they are taking so I can determine if they are appropriate for them or not, using basic Kinesiology. I then do an Iridology reading on the iris of the eyes, tongue reading, face reading, and looking at the whole body image, determine what outside signs may be giving clues as to what their problems are. I put it all together and then do a Kinesiology reading to get the total chart, which tells where the problems are, what is causing them, and what remedies are needed to correct the situations. The client goes away with the appropriate herbs and natural supplements to take and recommendations on any nutritionals that may be needed. I also teach my clients to do simple Kinesiology readings on themselves to help them with decisions on foods and supplements that are in their best interest. How long is a typical session?
The first session is usually 2 to 3 hours long. After that, each session is at least one hour, sometimes two, depending on what the client needs.Describe your office or treatment room:
My office is in a natural setting, in a separate building on our property, and is painted a light pinkish purple, which is very relaxing, soft and inviting. I have butterflies on the walls, and people exclaim how inviting it is.How should someone prepare for a session?
They need to bring in all the natural supplements/remedies and medications they are taking. They need to have an open mind and to trust that their body can really heal itself.

Closing comments
What else might someone want to know about you?
I’ve had a 30 year business background, a 15 year natural health background, and am somewhat psychic. Sometimes I amaze myself by blurting out what a person needs before I test them to see what it is they need. I then test what I said and sure enough, that was what they needed.
