Chicago – As Chicagoans get ready for another holiday season and plan for the New Year ahead, there is no better time than now to rejuvenate your mind, and organize your life. ChicagoHealers.com guides you through the art of Feng Shui, a proven ancient formula that enhances the health and wellness of your environment. What better way to start the New Year off than feeling fresh and focused!

The gift of Feng Shui will allow you to bring more attention and energy to every part of your life. Chicagohealers.com offers tips for health, money, home, and office to help you ease into the holidays. Take a glance into your life during this holiday season through the eyes of Feng Shui with these tips:

HEALTH: Many people find the holidays to be the most stressful time of year. There are presents to buy, decorating to be done, cards to write, houseguests to entertain, as well as our daily lives to live! With some easy feng shui tips you can enjoy your daily life and the holidays at the same time.

Create some time to be alone . Call one room in your home your own. If you do not have the room, a bathtub will suffice. Turn off the ringer on the phone or at the very least; let those around you know that you are unavailable. Dim the lights, take deep breaths, and just be. This ritual will affect your health area and your home profoundly. By taking a mere 10 minutes out of the day to relax, close your eyes, participate in deep breathing exercises and/or soak in the tub, you will more than make up for those well-invested minutes during the day.

Use a scent that you love . Some relaxing scents to try are lavender, chamomile or sandalwood. If you need rejuvenating, use rosemary, eucalyptus or peppermint. Use them in diffusers or pour them into your bath water!

Take oils with you and smell them during the day . Chciagohealsers.com recommends taking both a rejuvenating and relaxing oil. Use them as needed. When added to spring water in a spray bottle you can “feng shui” your car or office with scent when you spritz it into the air!

MONEY: This seems to be a common problem for people during the holidays, the gifts pile up and so do credit card bills. We never seem to get ahead financially during this time of the year. A Feng Shui solution can help!

Determine the money corner of your home; be sure it is free of trash or clutter. To locate the money corner, go to your front door and face the house. The money corner is the area that is in the far left corner of your house. For example, a successful money corner will include a vase with flowers and a bowl of coins. Keep the area positive.

HOME: The magnificent display of lights that shine from trees and chimneys bring energy and warmth into homes. The glow of sparkling Christmas lights creates joy, simply by mere presence.

Anything that is electronic, electric or that moves (such as a mobile) can be considered a Feng Shui cure. If an area of the home lacks energy, decorate it with holiday lights or a festive mobile.

Love fresh greens ? Wreaths, containers of fresh evergreen and Christmas trees can all be feng shui cures. Adding lights to a tree or wreath can give an area that extra boost of energy.

OFFICE: You can also feng shui your desk or work station for the Holidays. Having a positive work area will promote a more efficient day at work.

On the back left side of your desk, create a “cure” for prosperity. This could be a fountain, a green plant, a picture of what you would do or buy with your newfound money, a clock or anything mechanical.

Keep the top of your desk as free from clutter as possible. When you finish a job, put it away. Baskets or bins for projects can be easily cleared or brought back to your desk. It works beautifully.

There are many ways you can bring feng shui into you life during the holidays. Use your intuition and imagination and create your own supportive “cures.”

Give yourself the gift of Feng Shui this holiday season.
