Services
Describe your services:
I combine three complementary therapeutic techniques, which are unique and highly effective. People come to me who want to heal but are unsure how. I’ve seen the combination of EFT, Hypnosis, and Body/Mind Connection work magically.
The first technique is called EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique. (www.EmoFree.com) This technique involves “tapping” on energy meridians to release negative energy that has accumulated in the body as a result of negative emotions like fears, anger, regret, resentment, or any kind of dysfunction in our lives. It also works great with cravings, pain management, and grief. I believe that these symptoms represent trapped “emotions” inside our body. When you “tap” you are, in essence “talking” or “wording out” the negative feelings and thoughts… which releases them.
Another way of understanding it is the age-old Chinese philosophy that
energy flows through the body like a river or stream, but negative thinking, or negative energy can collect like a dam which is the root of disease. Collecting this negative energy makes us sick. Tapping breaks the dam and allows energy to flow freely again and healing starts. We can call it an “acupuncture of emotions” without needles. The second technique that I combine with the first is Hypnosis. Deep
relaxation, opening the subconscious mind to what I call “our filing
system”, past the “critical factor” of the conscious mind which we all are born with. All the events and memories from our lives, and the emotions tied to them can get trapped. EFT releases the negative emotions, which is then followed by going into a hypnotic trance. Here we replace old files with new ones, which is a very powerful combination.
The third modality is Body/ Mind Connection. The emotion that you experience is a trigger of an old memory which our body reacts to. Example: Just close your eyes, and think of a lemon, juicy and sour. Feel it, smell it, bite on it, and taste it. What happens? Your body reacts with producing more saliva with the memory of the taste of a lemon. This is how our body (liver, kidney, spleen, heart, etc) reacts to past memories and emotions. Body/Mind Connection comes in handy here, offering a path to finding, recognizing, acknowledging, and letting go.How does your healing modality work?
I combine three complimentary therapeutic modalities that work together synergistically for greater success. One clears away negative energy (EFT), the second imbeds positive messages in the subconscious while under a deeply relaxed and open state of mind (hypnosis), and the third (Body/Mind Connection) connects with the past emotional triggers. How do you see your services evolving over the next three years?
I am in the process of translating self-help and training materials related to Hypnosis, EFT, and Body/Mind Connection into Turkish, my native language. I hope to start a school in Turkey to train people there.
I will continue to lead group sessions and to work with companies
helping employees to stop smoking, for instance. I will begin working with hospitals where there is a lot of fear (fear of pain, surgery, or death). I am a Certified Medical Hypnotherapy Specialist and look forward to using my skills to aid in pain management, pre- and post-operative surgery anxiety, quicker post-operative healing, MS, Asthma, Cancer, Diabetes, Hypertension, Depression, nail-biting, Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome, grief, etc.
Benefits
What are the benefits/results people see?
I have helped people get relief from anxiety, and panic attacks, I’ve helped people stop smoking, bed wetting, nail biting, getting over a fear of flying or public speaking, insomnia, high blood pressure, an abusive childhood, weight management, even asthma. Your subconscious mind is stronger than your willpower, and nearly every single habit or fear you believe you cannot overcome on your own; you can- by “tapping” into your subconscious. Why do people come to see you and who might an ideal client be?
An ideal client has made a commitment to themselves to seek help, they know that something is wrong in their life, their will power is not enough to correct it, and they are ready to get help.
They exhibit an “openness” and a belief that the process will work, and that I will help them.
A genuine desire to change is what I look for. What makes you different/good at what you do?
This is my passion, I love teaching, and healing, I love for patients to
leave a session knowing they can help themselves outside of my office,
because I’ve taught them the techniques and given them tools to help
themselves when crises arise. My combination of complimentary therapeutic modalities; EFT, Hypnosis, and Body/Mind Connection are also very unique.
Philosophy/Approach
Describe your healing philosophy:
I believe in healing from the inside out, that every symptom is an outward sign of inner, or underlying causes that need to be identified and cleared. I also believe that every living thing in the universe has it’s own healing power. What we do as complementary healers is to show the way.Describe your style or approach:
My approach is holistic, I want to learn all about my patients, and I start with your relationships… with your parents, siblings, family, closest friends, spouses, and children. When we talk about your relationships first, emotions will begin to appear. The first visit is ½ hour and I don’t charge for this initial consultation. It is meant to determine the problem/issue, how I can help solve it, and whether you feel it is right for you to proceed. Why do you do what you do?
Before I became a hypnotherapist, I practiced oral surgery, as does my husband. Once, assisting my husband with implant surgery in an older gentleman, the patient started gasping, and choking, in fear– even though he’d been given IV sedation. We couldn’t help the gentleman, and had to stop the surgery, unable to alleviate his phobia and anxiety. After that incident, I thought to myself “I want to be able to help people like this” and I am a firm believer that “What you put out there (thoughts/energy) comes back to you”. One day, not long after that, I got something in the mail from a hypnotherapy school…. and I decided that’s what I would do, I would learn how to help, without drugs.

Closing Comments
What else might someone want to know about you?
The work that I do can also be effective over the phone. I received a call
from a patient in Istanbul suffering with a migraine headache and
I was able to help alleviate her pain over the phone and the pain never came back again. I use hypnotherapy with one of my children who suffers from asthma attacks. When attacks come, he now knows how to help himself stay calm. In fact, both of my children do the ‘tapping” and come to me when they want help. I believe that a lot of our youth can be helped by these techniques to offset the
pressures they feel everyday as adolescents.
