Headache

There are several types of headaches: tension, migraines, vascular, cluster, allergy/sensitivity, trauma, TMJ, eyestrain and sinus to name a few. They are a response to underlying metabolic, structural or emotional imbalances, and can be a sign of other undetected health conditions. Determining the cause of headaches can be complicated and it is important to look for contributing factors such as stress, food allergies, chemical and environmental sensitivities and digestive imbalances. Holistic and alternative approaches recommended by our practitioners:

Headaches can be caused by many things such as stress and muscle tension, energetic pain spikes, “ungroundedness”, sinus inflammation, hormonal imbalances or bowel toxicity. One way to reduce headaches is with relaxation and energy balancing. There may be an inconsistant flow of energy from head to toe that may respond to a visual meditation of a tree. Feel your feet growing roots deep into the ground, become aware of how energy flows up from the earth and down from heavens thru your body, feel the pressure release from your head and flow out your feet.

I have a very specific and effective treatment for clearing Migraine
headaches, promoting relaxation or clearing sinus congestion. I clear and rebalance the energy system and teach you methods for self balancing as well.

The most common headaches are caused by tension, stress, eyestrain, lack of sleep or missing meals. The true cause of headaches seems to be an imbalance in the production of the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain.

A lymphatic drainage massage using the oil of peppermint is recommended. Colon hydrotherapy would also be suggested because getting rid of toxic build up in the colon alleviates stress and imbalances in the body systems.
