Describe your services:
I am experienced and educated in the three major approaches to Feng Shui. These include the Compass (analytic), the Form (physical/landscape), and the Black Sect (spiritual/intention). I have over ten years experience choosing and integrating multiple approaches to Feng Shui. I work with homes and business at all stages whether choosing a lot or new house, designing the floor plan, decorating the interior, or enhancing an established home or business.

Just as we affect our environment, our environment affects us. By putting ourselves in the best possible space we derive the greatest benefits, peace, and prosperity from those surroundings. Feng Shui the ancient art of creating balance and harmony with the forces of nature and our personal space can make significant changes in our relationships, work, finances, and personal energy. From the shape of your building to the location of your bed to color of your walls all these factors directly influence our success and happiness in the world.

I also use both Chinese and Western astrology, do space clearings, house blessings and use transcendental ritual cures of the Black Sect Tantric Buddhism [BSTB].

How does your healing modality work?
Feng shui works on several levels. First, we change the physical by creating a well-balanced environment void of obstacles and blockages. We appeal to the six senses. Then the amazing part begins. By applying the basic bagua (the blueprint of your life) onto your space, then making subtle symbolic changes in the physical adding objects with a meaningful purpose, we can change lives.

I go into homes and businesses and first assess the space according to the Feng Shui compass. This sets up the chart of the building, its personality, its best areas and element cures that may be needed. Then we look at the use of the space, furniture placement, the best colors and elements or accessories for the space. We consider the people living and /or working in the space and try to put them in his or her best direction and surround them with supportive elements so they can derive the best possible benefits from spending time in that space. I help the client focus on their goals and needs for not only their surroundings, but also their lives.

How do you see your services evolving over the next three years?
I see myself doing more teaching, speaking to groups and organizations to pass on the experiences, practical and esoteric information that I have gathered over the last decade consulting in homes and businesses. I have been asked to write a different kind of Feng Shui book. I will continue to teach, mentor, supervise, and certify apprentices through my Feng Shui design institute.

Benefits

What are the benefits/results people see?
Some have had unexpected money come in the next day. Relationships start improving. People feel more peaceful, happy and supported by their environment after being Feng Shuied. Some experience dramatic changes in their lives immediately. It depends on their individual situation. Here is what a client has to say:You came by on July 30. I asked you to focus on career/wealth. * October – a very well-paying easy-to-do project. followed by a TON (yes, literally, it’s been that much) of work

Thank you very much for all your ideas. After your visit, I told people that the Feng Shui was going to help my awful economic position, and they looked at me somewhat skeptically. Now, after the wonderfully dramatic results, those people are, let us say, curious.

Why do people come to see you?
I go to see people to help create positive places from the start or improve existing environments according to Feng Shui. Many have just moved and want to set up the home the best it can be, remove predecessor energy in a house with a history of divorce, job loss, ill health or just an uncomfortable feeling in the place. If they are building or moving they want their new place to be set up according to Feng Shui from the start.

Who is an ideal client?
An ideal client is willing to work to implement the changes prescribed in a consultation. I enjoy the clients who follow up, asks questions, put out their energy to get the results they are after. They give feedback and get their money’s worth and stimulate my creativity to help them.

What makes you different/good at what you do?
My life experience working as a designer of fabrics, flowers and furniture has contributed to my esthetic sense of Feng Shui. I have always been interested in Asian culture and thought. I have traveled in Asia – China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea. I have been a student of metaphysics and energy for three decades, studied Reiki, and my Celiac health condition has made me highly environmentally sensitive allowing me assess the tiniest nuances in Feng Shui. I have trained with several of the best Asian Masters all at a time before Feng Shui was well known in the Midwest. I am considered to be a pioneer in this field here in Chicago.

Philosophy/Approach

Describe your healing philosophy:
I find that a positive approach is paramount in doing feng shui in this country. In Asia there was an old saying: “When the feng shui master comes, be prepared to move.” The rules and ancient teachings can be very unyielding in traditional terms. Most of my clients are not in a position to move. They may have just moved in or signed a lease. I am there to make their space the best it can be – creating positive energy flow and balance. Many do not want to do extensive renovations so we work on a higher spiritual level of intention. Symbolic additions, as well as the elements , bring healing. Many clients have illnesses or are very sensitive to their surroundings. Having an optimum environment can make a big difference in how they heal. The correct lighting, colors, sounds, smells, and feel are crucial to an immune compromised person. Giving them guidelines for creating a better environment in which to heal. Being in a supportive happy environment is a key to healing.

Describe your style or approach:
My approach is an in depth, comprehensive approach. I use methods from the compass, technical method to recommend the proper elements to balance areas of a space. I also use the transcendental cures and rituals of Buddhism that uses intention and symbolism to affect results when physical changes are not possible. We use intention to bring in success and healing into all concerns – financial, relationships, infertility, litigation, peace and happiness.

I ask questions and listen to clients to come up with better choices in implementing custom cures for their space. I consider my role as a facilitator. I want people to follow through, call, e mail me as they implement their cures. I have been in this a long time before there was money in this profession. I am in this for the results and will do all I can to make sure you get the desired effect in your space that contributes to your well-being and fits into your lifestyle.

Why do you do what you do?
I have been doing feng shui for the last decade because creating supportive positive environments is my passion and a positive use of my environmental sensitivities. I get so much satisfaction and happiness from helping people understand and improving their surroundings. I find the observations by the ancient masters exciting and the cures miraculous. I am still amazed at the results and how it can work. The day I stop being amazed, I will quit doing this.

Education/Background

Education/Training:
I am a graduate of American Feng Shui Institute, Monterey Park, California. I consider it to be a great privilege to be a Senior affiliate of Grand Master Lin Yun, Berkeley California. I have traveled Asia – Taipei, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Seoul, South Korea.

Years Professionally Practicing:
Over a decade. I have been going into homes and businesses since early 1992.

Contributions/Publications:
I am a contributor to various publications, subject of many articles in Midwest newspapers, and featured on local media programs –all major networks in Milwaukee and Chicago and HGTV program 1996. I’ve worked with many high profile people and respect their privacy. I’ve been on the radio regarding Wrigley Field, Miller Park and even made the Automotive section. I am working on several feng shui books at present.

What to expect

Describe a typical session:
I meet on site with you. We discuss what specific needs or concerns you, the client, may have about your home or office space. I look at the charts and personalities of the individual family members as well as the chart of the building. Getting to know who you are and what you need in your surroundings is key to creating a harmonious space. I make recommendations on colors, elements needed in each area as we walk through the building. We work at implementing the cures for the changes that will bring more success for your space. I ask them to call or e mail me in a few days with any additional questions or comments.

How long is a typical session?
An existing home consultation takes at least three hours regardless of square footage. An office or workplace runs two hours or more. Usually one meeting is sufficient for existing places. Meetings with homeowners and their architects, designers and realtors at various stages of development will vary in length.

Describe your office or treatment room:
I have a home with yard in North shore Milwaukee and a small apartment in Chicago. This helps me relate to most living situations. However, I usually come to your location.

How should someone prepare for a session?
1. Provide in advance the birth date, time and place of all family members, key people in the business [including owner] 2. Provide the date the building was built. 3. Review the history of your house/building. Have you been happy there? Why did the previous owners sell?, etc.. 4. Be thinking about what you want to for your space – repaint, redecorate, 5. Be thinking about the areas of your life you would like to improve. Feng Shui uses your space to help bring positive changes in your life.

Logistics

Office hours/days of the week:
Day and weekend consultations and workshops, evening and daytime presentations.

Fee Range
$300 for a two hour corporate session and increases depending on the place and stage of development – floor plans, site selection, building to completion. On-going corporate rate continues at $150 per hour.

There is a comprehensive flat rate for homeowners of about $500 depending on complexity of home, size and distance. The primary consultation runs 3 to 5 hours and includes some follow-up.

Take Insurance?
No.

Cancellation Policy?
Because I go between two cities, I need as much notice as possible. A week in advance is good. Emergencies happen.
