Describe your center’s mission:
At Family Dental Care, we offer state of the art techniques for all of your family’s dental and oral health needs in a calm and compassionate environment. Our holistic approach addresses the synergy that exists within our complete body. We know that the good care we give your oral health directly affects your well being.

As founder/owner, why did you start/buy your center?
Family Dental Care was established in 1954 by Kenneth Anderson, DDS and his daughter, Dr. Claudia Anderson, took over the practice in 1996. The name says it all – our philosophy is to provide the very best in dental and oral health care for the entire family. We care about keeping the whole family active in pursuing a healthy way of living can tending to their oral health.

Services

What services/mix of modalities does your center offer?
At Family Dental Care, we offer comprehensive oral exams, cleaning, digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras, completely computerized office, tooth colored resin fillings, veneers, dentures, extractions, bleaching (both in office and home bleaching) Invisalign orthodontic evaluation and treatment and oral cancer screening. We remove silver fillings and use only non-metal fillings for your optimal oral health.

Does your center focus on a particular type of clientele?
We welcome any person in need of dental care. We spend time with all of our patients to hear what their needs and concerns are. We never rush a patient or a procedure. We schedule only one patient at a time to allow us to give our time completely to that person. We encourage children to come in with their parents to develop a comfort level at the dental office. We let parents stay with the child when they are having their teeth checked. We find that when the family participates together, the children look forward to coming to the dentist.

Do you take insurance?
Yes. We only require you to pay the percentage not covered by your insurance at the time of service. Payment plans are available.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
We respectfully ask that you give at least 24 hours notice of cancellation

Specifically describe teamwork at your center and how it enhances client care.
Dr. Claudia Anderson and Dr. Carolyn Demas work together to keep the Family Dental Care philosophy viable. Our most important goal is to listen to our patient needs and concerns and to offer to them options of care that are explained clearly and with a high level of expertise.

What common practices, standards, or philosophies does your group hold / you require of your group?
We provide a holistic approach to oral health understanding that maintaining and improving the condition of our oral environment enhances and facilitates better general and systemic health. There exists a synergy between all body systems and in our holistic approach, we work with the patients to help them understand the vital role good oral health plays in their total well being.. Good home care, healthy restorations, good nutrition and vitamin supplements all help to make the oral health work in synchrony with our total system.

What criteria did you use in choosing your employees/tenants?
The entire staff at Family Dental Care is dedicated to providing a compassionate and caring environment to all who walk through our doors – from the office manager to the dental assistants, you will find a competent, calm and caring staff. We encourage even young children to come in with their parents to get a feel for the what happens at the dental office – all of us love to work with the children to facilitate a healthy understanding of good oral health. Facilities

Describe the atmosphere and any extra goodies your center has to offer.
We strive to project an almost spa-like atmosphere with aromatherapy, meditative/spa music and peaceful rooms. Distractions are kept to a minimum. The staff is quiet, respectful and soothing. We provide many resources for patients to enhance their holistic approach to health regarding oral health care products, vitamin supplements and general health concerns.
