One of my colleagues and I were engaged in a conversation regarding other lifetimes. We believe that the actual experience of other lifetimes exists for all of us. I shared with her that I wanted to be a nurse many years ago but changed my mind after an overwhelming experience. A friend and I were getting ready to enter the hospital room of one our friends who was in an automobile accident when suddenly I felt very weak and unsteady. I leaned up against the wall for support just outside of his room. I recently discovered that I lived during the great plague in London which led me to automatic write about this lifetime so that it would help me to understand my fear of illness and watching others close to me die. I received the following insight:

Dear one, realize that your experience during the plague in London created a world of overwhelming dread. Understand that your position as a doctor deeply committed to helping others became most challenging during this lifetime. Many came to you at the outset looking for relief from pain and discomfort. As more sought relief the number increased beyond the capacity of your ability to put an end to such a detrimental situation — a situation which took its toll on countless lives. Your dedication and commitment were the fuel to help those who sought your care. Like a shadow slowly bringing darkness and little relief to a multitude who suffered, you, too, were overcome by the plague which consumed you. Yet know dear one that Eternal Life brings to you the Love and Light once again as you bring peace and comfort to others in this lifetime. Blessings to you for now and forevermore . . .
