Well, it’s no surprise that most of us are taking a look at our budgets a little more closely these days. Americans spend about 10% of their income on food. The Italians and French spend almost 15%, and the Spanish a whopping 17%. As far as that relates to our health…16% of our gross domestic product is spent on health care, while other nations it accounts for only about 10%.
