The Energy and Soul Purpose of LOVE

Love is the highest vibration there is. EVERYTHING, even our beloved tech works because of vibrations. Electricity is vibration! Hearing, with our pretty little ordinary ears, is based on vibration. Vision is also a complex bunch of reactions to the vibrations of light waves.
We can FEEL the vibration of love. When we feel love, we feel it in our chests. When we think of something we do not like, or we are experiencing something negative, we feel it in our stomachs.

The Energy of Staying Present

It is August, the middle of August, and I just saw a display of Halloween decorations in a store. Halloween is two and a half months away...The summer items were being removed from the other shelves, and boxes of Christmas items were waiting to be set up. Christmas is FOUR and a half mnths from now. The 5th of July, back-to-school items were stacking shelves, and ads and commercials bombarded us. "Christmas in July," complete with carols, became a thing.

The Energy of "Hurt Feelings"

Being hurt by something someone has said or done is based on the idea that someone SHOULD be or do or act a certain way. In order for that to happen, we must first have had an expectation of something or someone. The only way we can ever be disappointed is if we have an expectation. Everyone has free-will. They can be or do anything they want! So can we! All we can do, if someone falls short of our expectations, is grieve.

The Energy of Graduation

At this time of year, we can feel the energy of endings and beginnings everywhere: grade promotions, graduations, weddings... Change is the constant.
There are three ways we can travel through life: reacting, creating and co-creating. Reacting takes place when we don't have a plan- usually because we believe we CAN'T have a plan, that we must accept and be grateful for whatever comes our way. Gratitude is a wonderful energy, however we can create whatever we wish to be grateful for!

We're all tired of hearing about it, talking about it, living it: Chicago, and a good part of the country's weather this winter. Yet if we know a little bit of real info, we will experience less suffering. And here it is…

I Love You

We hear about the importance of self love and care all the time. To the point, perhaps, that it has lost true meaning.
What IS self-love? How do we achieve it? How do we know we have it?
Let's break it down. Self-love is the energy of acceptance for ourselves, the peace that comes from knowing and accepting our Light side and our Dark side. We all have both sides! I teach love and acceptance; I love you unconditionally when you come in to see me! But if you cut me off in traffic, I'm going to react, then probably laugh. I'm letting out some energy. If I did not love myself, trust that I am truly a good, loving, compassionate person, I might not allow myself to FEEL the frustration. We're human here on Earth! Of course we aren't going to be all "Namaste" all the time. Know it, and love that about yourself. Light and Dark.
We are infinitely and unconditionally loved by Source exactly as we are, despite our opinion of ourselves! This is because we ARE love.
Self love is consciously working within Nurturing Mother Energy, knowing what we need in each present moment. Ask, Am I hungry? Thirsty? Cold? Anxious? Angry? Sad? Have to go pee? (How many times as women do we NOT go when we have to because something else or someone else is more important?)
Once we check in with ourselves, we do what we need in order to get back to center. If we are angry,

During the holidays, energy runs high enough to keep me busy with clients above and beyond any other time of year. We "feel" everything that's going on around us, in our bodies. There are cellular reactions; chemical productions based on memories good AND bad. Just knowing this can help us feel empowered! Now we know what's happening; we aren't nuts! And speaking of nuts, our bodies react to all the foods we don't usually eat, as well.
Here are some more tips for coping, and thriving during this sometimes less-than-magical time of year. We CAN cherish every moment and create NEW memories!

As we're learning techniques for coping with the holidays, we should remember that other's are experiencing the same thing! Sometimes that is a very comforting thought. We are part of a bigger whole. Even within our families, we might find a kindred spirit feeling out of sorts with the familiar family drama.
Here are some actual energy moving skills you can practice. Use any one, or all of these:

Preparing For Joyful Holidays

The holidays are difficult for many. We have expectations, which can lead to huge disappointments. We need to make sure that we hold no expectations, which protects us from having to live up to other's expectations. How can we be expectation free when we've asked for that watch, or that purse, or we KNOW that cousin Eddie is going to drink too much and talk about that issue he has with so-and-so?

The Soul Purpose of Aggravation

The other day I set my morning intention to get to the store in an efficient and timely manner, safely, for Everyone’s Highest Good. A nice peaceful affirmation of my faith in the Universe. I had a lot going on, many things on my mind, and yet I was determined to stay present. I drive well; I am clever and quick and see opportunities in every moment to safely get where I’m going fast. I am a Indy driver; like that artist on a bike who leaves everyone in the dust. I also spent 35 years in the wide open countryside, driving effortlessly with the wind in my hair with nobody else on the road.
