Describe your center’s mission:
To help individuals overcome their pain and return to normal function using acupuncture, homeopathy, physical therapy, and massage therapy.

As Founder/Owner why did you Start/Buy your center?
I saw a need to address pain from a different approach rather than more conventional approaches such as medication or surgery.

Does your center focus on a particular type of clientele?
As many integrative medical clinics, we see many patients (young and old) who have tried numerous other therapies or treatments without much improvement in their symptoms. We treat (to name a few) lower back pain, neck and shoulder tension, tennis and golf elbow, and hip and knee pain.

Medicare and Blue Cross / Blue Shield

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Cancellation of appointments should be made 24hrs in advance.

Center Synergies

Specifically describe teamwork at your center and how it enhances client care.
We have realized that pain has many sources and not always can be treated with one modality alone. That is why we use a combination of acupuncture, with or without electrical stimulation, homeopathic injections to areas of pain to reduce inflammation thereby reducing pain, and physical therapy involving therapeutic massage and bodywork, as well as chiropractic care. Using these combined therapies we get phenomenal results with our patients.

What common practices, standards, or philosophies does your group hold / you require of your group?
Everyone here at SOMA shares a common goal to help patients be pain free and return to normal daily functioning.

Our office has a friendly caring atmosphere, and our staff all exhibits professionalism in what we do along with a combined 30+ years experience in treating pain.

Facilities

Describe the atmosphere and any extra goodies your center has to offer.
Our newly renovated office is equipped with soft multifunction tables with head rests and we make extra effort to ensure our patients are as comfortable as possible when they receive treatments

Days of the week and hours of operation for the center.
We are at our Glenview location Mondays until 6:30, Wednesdays until 3PM and Fridays until 6:30PM all day. And we are at our Chicago location on Tues and Thursdays until 6:30PM and every other Saturday until 1PM
